Said Abdullahi Bitow is the Director of Communication & Public Relations at the Djibouti Parliament – National Assembly of the Republic of Djibouti. In this role, he leads the institution’s communication and public relations strategies, manages media engagement, and oversees public information at both national and international levels. Said Abdullahi Bitow was born on March 14, 2001, in Kismayo, Somalia. He grew up in an environment that valued education, leadership, and public service, inspiring him from an early age to pursue a career in media and institutional communication.
He completed his higher education in France, specializing in journalism, media studies, and strategic communication. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the French Press Institute (Institut Français de Presse – IFP) at Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, one of Europe’s leading journalism institutions. He later obtained a Master’s Degree in Communication and Public Relations from CELSA Sorbonne University, a prestigious graduate school recognized internationally for excellence in media, public relations, and strategic communication. His studies focused on institutional communication, media strategy, digital communication systems, reputation management, and modern public relations practices.
Said Abdullahi Bitow has extensive experience in public communication and government institutions. He has served in multiple government offices, gaining hands-on experience in communication management, institutional coordination, public engagement, and media relations. His work includes preparing official reports, managing media relations, organizing governmental events, drafting speeches and official statements, and overseeing digital media platforms.
As Director of Communication & Public Relations at the Djibouti Parliament, Said Abdullahi Bitow supervises all communication and public relations operations, including media relations, public information campaigns, parliamentary sessions coverage, official visits, and institutional events. He also leads initiatives to modernize parliamentary communication systems and expand public access to information.
